LOCATION

Podobuce is located on the peninsula Peljesac, approximately 8 km to the east the city of Orebic.

Podobuce is a little fishing village with about twenty houses.

Considering that you are arriving from the north, you will chose between different possibilities to Ploce. From Ploce you can either drive with your car in direction Neum (Bosnia and Hercegovina) and Ston, or take the ferry from Ploce to Trpanj.

Travel by CAR::

Usual routes from Zagreb to Ploce :

Zagreb- Split (highway exit Sestanovac) - Dubci - Makarska - Ploce

or

Zagreb- Split (highway exit Sestanovac) - Zagvozd - Vrgorac - Ploce

Guests arriving from Eastern Europe can also take the route via Bosnia and Hercegovina to Ploce.

From Ploce you will via Neum and Ston drive into the direction to Orebic.

The distance between Ploce and Podobuce is about 100 km. Follow the road signs for Orebic, about 4 km before Orebic you will see a sign for Podobuce, where you will turn left from the main road, and in about 3-4 km you will reach Podobuce.

Travel by FERRY:

From Ploce you can continue to travel by ferry, which in about 50 minutes reaches Trpanj. From Trpanj it is about half an hour to Podobuce: In Trpanj continue by car following the sign for Orebic. About 4 km before Orebic at the sign for Podubuce turn left from the main road, and in about 3-4 km you will reach Podobuce.

Travel by PLANE:

The closest airports are in Dubrovnik and in Split. Split and Dubrovnik are connected to the peninsula Peljesac with road and shipping lines.

The airport in Dubronik is 100 km in the east, and is connected with the important European cities. Dubrovnik is about 580 km from the capital Zagreb.
